The Minnesota Moose are excited to announce the commitment for Tristan Hadley a 2000-born goaltender from Phoenix, Ariz., to Southern New Hampshire University, an NCAA school playing in the Northeast-10 Conference, the nation’s only NCAA Division II hockey conference.

Hadley finished the season with the Moose with a .922 save percentage and a 2.24 GAA in the national tournament and playoffs. During the regular season, Hadley had a .911 save percentage and a 2.90 GAA.

“Tristan was a huge part of the Moose success in the second half of the season. When he came to the Moose, we found a level of leadership, poise and confidence we were missing on and off the ice,” said Moose Head Coach/GM Jon Jonasson. “He competed as hard or harder than anyone else in practice, [and] every game he played we knew that we were going to get a top performance out of him. Tristan was also a huge asset to our younger players as he helped them buy into our culture here with the Moose and challenged them to better every day.

“In my tenure as a coach, I have not seen very many athletes as dedicated or as driven as Hadley was when he was with us. We wish Tristan the most success over the next four years at SNHU. They are getting a top-notch goaltender and even better human being!

"I am super excited about my commitment to Southern New Hampshire University,” said Hadley. “My dream since I was a kid has been to play college hockey, and this is a huge step towards my dream. I couldn't have asked for a better place to continue my hockey career! Thankful for the Minnesota Moose for helping to prepare me the past few months."

The Minnesota Moose, playing out of Blaine, Minn., have been one of the top teams in the USPHL Premier for the last four seasons since their inception in 2017, with 65+ advancements, a 159-36-6 overall record since 2017, four straight trips to the National Tournament and two Division Championships.
