Moose Sign Armstrong Product Gonrowski

The Minnesota Moose proud members of the USPHL are excited to announce the signing of Armstrong/Cooper High School product Nicholas Gonrowski a 99' Defenseman with a scoring threat. 

In Gonrowski's senior season with Armstrong/ Cooper HS a suburb of Minneapolis, MN he tallied 22 points, notching 15 goals and 7 assists with 5 goals coming from the power play. Nicholas was one of the top senior Defenseman in the state earning All Conference, the Hobey Baker Leadership Award, and was selected for the Great 8 tournament which is designated for the top seniors in the state. On top of that Nicholas served as the Captain of his team this past season and Assistant Captain his Junior season. 

"We are excited to add Gonrowski to our D core for our inagural season in the USPHL.  When recruiting we look for players with a high level of character, leadership, passion and the want to succeed both on and off the ice. He has all of these and more. Nicholas will be one of the better skating, dynamic D-men in the USPHL Premier this season and we look to see have have opportunities for advancement. Fans and scouts can expect to see him make an immediate impact with the Moose."

As the Moose finalize their roster over the next week they will be announcing the rest of the teams roster through the end of August, building the excitement for a championship run in their inaugural season. 

The Minnesota Moose play out of Fogerty Ice Arena in Blaine, MN. One of the top facilities for Junior Hockey in Minnesota. The Moose home opener will be September 15th vs the Minnesota Mullets out of Forest Lake, MN.
