The Minnesota Moose, proud members of the USPHL are excited to announce the signing of Westminster, Colorado native 1999 Defenseman Frankie Torrez to the roster. Frankie spent the last 2 seasons playing for Monarch HS, one of the top HS programs out of Colorado in the Denver area. Frankie in the past 2 seasons posted 31 points in 21 games as a defenseman, adding a scoring touch with netting 14 goals in the 2016-2017 season. Torrez will be a 200ft threat this season for the Moose.

"Frankie comes to the Moose with the eagerness to continue to develop and move up the junior ranks. With his skill set and finesse as a 1999 birth year, I expect him to make a splash right away in the USPHL. Along with being an offensive defenseman, Torrez has no problem with out physically playing every guy on the ice." - Head Coach Jon Jonasson

As the Moose finalize their roster over the next week they will be announcing the rest of the teams roster through the end of August, building the excitement for a championship run in their inaugural season.

The Minnesota Moose play out of Fogerty Ice Arena in Blaine, MN. One of the top facilities for Junior Hockey in Minnesota. The Moose home opener at Fogerty Ice Arena  will be September 15th vs the Minnesota Mullets out of Forest Lake, MN.
