Forward: Adam Peterson, Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings.
Nobody scores more clutch goals in the USPHL’s Midwest Division than this ‘98 from Chicago, a four-year Riverkings veteran. He has five game-winning goals (tied for third in the entire league) and one more shootout winner. Thus, half of the Riverkings’ 12 wins this year have Peterson’s stamp on it.

Three of his five game-winners came in his last four games of November, including the OT game-winner on Nov. 30 to end the month. He has helped Wisconsin go 7-2-1-1 in its last 10 games after a mediocre 5-6-0-0 start.

Like his team, Peterson has gotten better as the season has progressed. He has scored 18 points in nine games, scoring points in eight of those contests. That is a large portion of his total 25 points scored this year. His 15 goals scored ranks 14th in the league.

Honorable Mention: Noah McNutt, Motor City Hockey Club; Tyler Kulas, Minnesota Mullets.

Defense: Alec Porzondek, Motor City Hockey Club.
Along with standing as one of the highest scoring defensemen across the whole USPHL Premier, Porzondek (‘98/Macomb, Mich.), Porzondek has also led a huge turnaround for Motor City.

After giving up an average of 5.8 goals in their six games of October, they gave up just 2.33 per game through November, helping to put Motor City on the plus side in goal differential (+29). That defensive turnaround has also keyed an 8-2 run for Motor City, along with the top winning percentage (.682) in the Midwest East Division.

Offensively, Porzondek scored 15 points in five of his nine games in November, including 11 in his last three of the month. He is fifth in USPHL scoring among defensemen with 27 points through 22 games.

Honorable Mention: Chris Dusek, Hudson Havoc; John Vandervalk III, Chicago Cougars.

Goal: Brenden Gutekunst, Motor City Hockey Club.
The ‘00 from Brownstown, Mich., was unbeatable in full games during the month of November, going 5-0. He also had two partial games, and out of all seven appearances, he never let up more than two goals per game. In fact, there’s only been one appearance this whole season (on Oct. 12) when Gutekunst gave up more than two goals.

The Motor City goalie also registered back to back shutouts over the Midwest Blackbirds on Nov. 3-4, making 58 saves total. During the month of November, Gutekunst stopped 151 of 159 shots for a .949 save percentage. He is fourth in the league in goals against average at 1.56 and eighth overall with a .942 save percentage. As aforementioned, Motor City cut its goals against by more than half from October to November with Gutekunst’s help.

Honorable Mention: Brian Tallieu, Metro Jets; Maximilian Hasselbacher, Minnesota Moose.
