Capstone Invitational
The Minnesota Moose have a strong relationship with Capstone Hockey Services. This is proved because of the talent it attracts and the scout attendance is higher than most every summer. This year is the 5th year anniversary of the Capstone Invitational. Every year this tournament is used for multiple purposes of teams that join the tourney. Some teams use this as a Junior A tryout where they bring players in to see how they can play against high level competition, others bring players in to see where they fit for the upcoming seasons. Many teams also enter this tournament hoping to find missing pieces for the upcoming season. This tournament attracted over 250 scouts in the last 4 years and this year it will be the biggest yet.
In the last 4 years the Invitational has had over 275 scouts in attendance from NHL, NCAA D1, NCAA D3, ACHA D1, USHL, NAHL, NCDC, MJHL, AJHL, OJHL, NOJHL, USPHL, and NA3HL
